The museum was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in the year of 2 0 0 0 as    EMP,    but    was    later    named MoPOP.   There   are   multiple   rooms   in   the building,    which    was    designed    to    look like   a   smashed   guitar.   Each   room   has   a s p e c i f i c s u b e c t : B u t t h e r e i s n ' t u s   music.   There   is   also   a   video   game   room, w h e r e t h e v i s i t o r s r e s h o w n h o   computer   and   console   games   are   made and there are samples of various games. Visitors   also   have   the   chance   to   see   an exhibit   about   abstract   fashion,   the   origin of   the   electric   guitar   and   various   special, temporary   exhibits   e.g.   a   Star   Trek   and   a Nirvana display. In   our   opinion   the   MoPoP   museum   was   the   most   impressive   sight   in   Seattle. The   entrance   hall   is   very   big   and   everywhere   you   look,   there   are   mirrors   and lights   and   especially   many   guitars   in   every   shape   and   colour.   That   looks   so funny    and    is     generally    amazing.    We    v i s i t e d t h e    Nirvana    exhibition,    which    was very   interesting   because   there   are   many   authentic   things   of   Kurt   Cobain   and Nirvana   in   general.   Also   hilarious   was   the   World   of   Wearable   Art.   There   are mannequins,   but   the   clothes   they   wear   are   so   strange,   one   of   them   for   example had   a   horse   dress.   But   the   best   thing   was   the   hall   where   we   could   try   to   play instruments.   It   was   so   amzing,   we   played   the   electric   guitar   and   a   keyboard   in real    studios,    similar    to    a    recording    studio.    We    sang    in    vocal    studios    with different   voices   too,   which   was   so   funny,   because   if   you   sing   a   christams   song with    the    voice    of    Donald    Duck    it    sounds    hilarious.    But,    unfortunately,    the museum   was   very   crowded   that   day   and   so   we   all   had   to   wait   long   until   we could    do    these    special    things.    After    this    we    just    had    time    for    taking    some pictures,   but   we   could   not   go   to   the   stage,   were   you   can   make   an   own   music video,    because    we    didn`t    have    enough    time.    That    was    sad,    but    all    things considered, it was just fantastic!
! M y tip: Don't be in a rush at the museum, there is a lot to see and the time it takes is worth it.
