The     Space     Needle     is     one     o t h e     most m o s i g h t s o f e . I t i s a n   observation   tower   which   was   built   in 1962. It    has    an    observation    deck    and    the rotating    Sky    City    restaurant.    It    is    184 meters   high   and   you   can   see   the   skyline of downtown Seattle. The    Space    Needle    was    built    for    the World   Fair   in   1962   like   the   Eiffel   Tower, which    was    built    in    1889    ,    also    on    the occasion of the World Fair. T h e a rc h i t ec t w as i n s p i re d b y th e Stuttgart TV Tower. T e i s a h i h h u e s b i l i   because    the    foundation    weighs    5850 tons. We went to the Space Needle for about two hours. The view was amazing. First   when   we   arrived,   we   got   information   about   the   history   of   the   Space   Needle.   Then we   took   the   elevator   to   the   observation   deck.   There   we   walked   around   and   enjoyed   the view   and    t o o k a   lot    of pictures. Inside the observation deck is a café and an interactive exhibition. That was interesting and we learned a lot. At the end, we went to the Space Needle shop which is in the exit. Conclusion: We visited the Space Needle for about two hours and we loved the beautiful view and the interesting interactive exhibition. But the Space Needle is very popular and so there were many people and it was crowded. We think, that the Space Needle is a sight for everybody, because it is interesting something you can´t see everywhere and you can see Seattle from a bird’s perspective. We can recommend it and would visit it a second time especially because of the view!
